The second day of the BEWBU physical meeting at the University of Mostar<\/strong> focused on turning experiences from the first implementation cycle into shared knowledge, improved teaching materials, research opportunities, and actions for the next stages of the project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The morning began with a session on \u201cLessons Learned from the First Implementation Cycle,\u201d<\/strong> moderated by Jiri Vilppola and Sanna Ruhalahti from Tampere University of Applied Sciences (TAMK)<\/strong>. Partners reflected collectively on good practices worth retaining, practices requiring modification, common challenges and institutional differences, with the aim of identifying recommendations relevant across the BEWBU consortium. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The discussion was followed by a hands-on workshop on Teaching Materials Review and Exchange<\/strong>. Participants showcased selected teaching materials developed for blended education courses and explored which resources could be adapted, transferred or shared among partner institutions. The session also included a round-table discussion on the training of academic staff at Western Balkan partner institutions by staff already trained in blended education<\/strong>, supporting the wider institutional dissemination of the knowledge and competences developed through BEWBU. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

An important dimension of Day 2 was connecting project implementation with research and knowledge production<\/strong>. During the session \u201cFrom Collected Data to Publication,\u201d<\/strong> moderated by Roberto Baelo Alvarez, partners discussed possible research questions emerging from the data collected during implementation, potential authorship and partner contributions, possible target journals and conferences, and an indicative timeline for future publications. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The afternoon programme continued with Work Package process reports<\/strong>, providing an opportunity to review progress across different areas of the project. According to the programme, the session included reporting on WP1, WP3, WP4 and WP5, involving Elda Tartari, Sanna Ruhalahti, Bogdan Malavrazi\u0107 and Tamara Pribisev Beleslin. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Day 2 concluded with a meeting of the Quality Assurance Committee (QAC)<\/strong>, reinforcing the project’s commitment to systematically monitoring implementation and supporting the quality of project processes and outcomes. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The second day highlighted one of the core strengths of the BEWBU partnership: learning across institutions<\/strong>. By connecting implementation experiences, teaching resources, research, project monitoring and quality assurance, the consortium continues to build a shared foundation for sustainable blended education practices in Western Balkan universities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
