BLENDED EDUCATION IN WESTERN BALKANS UNIVERSITIES (#BEWBU)
Today, the #BEWBU Erasmus+ project officially commenced with a kick-off meeting attended by the Rector of the University of Aleksander Moisiu in Durrës, alongside representatives from all partner universities.
This project, funded by the European Commission, aims to strengthen institutional capacities and enhance pedagogical competencies across higher education institutions (HEIs) in the Western Balkans.

A key focus is the integration of Blended Education (BE) into university programmes to foster flexibility, enhance inclusivity, and democratise the educational process. The overarching goal is to embed BE models into curricula to better prepare students for the demands of the Digital Age and facilitate their integration into the regional and European labour markets.
Over the next 33 months, in collaboration with institutions such as University of Aleksander Moisiu Durrës, HV Högskolan Väst, TAMK UAS Tampereen Ammattikorkeakoulu, Universidad de León (ULE), University of Mostar, University of Donja Gorica, Podgorica, University of Banja Luka, University of Fan S. Noli, University of Montenegro, University of Prishtina, and University of Gjakova Fehmi Agani, the project will pursue the following objectives:
-To enhance the pedagogical and digital capacities of academic staff and students by incorporating innovative learning and teaching methods into WB HEIs for Blended Education.
