The Erasmus+ Blended Education in Western Balkans Universities (BEWBU) project continues to make strides in transforming higher education across the Western Balkans through the integration of innovative blended learning methods. The second physical meeting of the project consortium is currently being held at Tampere University of Applied Sciences (TAMK) in Finland.
Workshop Focus: Comparative Analysis of Blended Education in Western Balkans
The aim of this workshop is to engage in a comparative analysis of Blended Education (BE) in higher education institutions across the Western Balkans. This analysis is crucial for understanding how blended learning is being implemented in the region and identifying the strengths and challenges that universities face.
During the meeting, all consortium partners presented their preliminary findings from surveys conducted with students, professors, and university management. These insights provide valuable data to better understand the needs, perceptions, and experiences of those involved in blended education across the participating institutions.
What’s Happening at the Workshop?
- Comparative Analysis: Consortium partners are working together to share their findings and compare how blended learning is being implemented in Western Balkans countries. The analysis will help identify the best practices and areas that require improvement.
- Training Preparation: Over the course of the next two days, the workshop will focus on preparing for upcoming training sessions on Hybrid and Blended Learning. These sessions will provide valuable skills and knowledge to educators across the region, equipping them with the tools to implement effective blended learning strategies.
- Sharing Experiences: One of the key aspects of the workshop is the opportunity for all participants to share their experiences and learn from each other. By engaging in discussions and exchanging best practices, the BEWBU project fosters international cooperation between Western Balkans and European universities, enriching the learning environment for all involved.
The workshop is part of the broader Erasmus+ Blended Education in Western Balkans Universities (BEWBU) project, which seeks to enhance the quality of education in the region by integrating blended learning approaches. By fostering collaboration between universities in the Western Balkans and Europe, the project ensures that students, educators, and institutions are well-prepared for the future of education.
