Second Online Meeting of the BEWBU Project Successfully Held

The Second Online Meeting of the Erasmus+ CBHE project “Blended Education in Western Balkans Universities (BEWBU)” was successfully held online via Microsoft Teams on Tuesday , 16 December 2025.

The meeting brought together representatives of all partner and associate institutions to review project progress, discuss ongoing activities, and coordinate next steps for the upcoming implementation period.

Meeting Highlights

The meeting was opened with welcome remarks by the project coordinator, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Elda Tartari, who presented the objectives and agenda and confirmed partner participation.

Steering Committee (SC) Session

Participants reviewed:

  • Achieved project activities and progress to date
  • Remaining tasks for the upcoming period
  • Financial and administrative matters
  • Internal reporting procedures

Project Management Committee (PMC) Sessions

Work Package Leaders presented detailed reports on the status of project implementation:

  • WP1 – Lead: University of Aleksander Moisiu, Albania (Assoc. Prof. Dr. Elda Tartari)
  • WP2 – Lead: University of León, Spain (Assoc. Prof. Dr. Roberto Baelo Álvarez)
  • WP3 – Lead: Tampere University of Applied Sciences, Finland (Dr. Sanna Ruhalahti)
  • WP4 – Lead: University of Donja Gorica, Montenegro (Bogdan Malavrazić)
  • WP5 – Lead: University of Prishtina, Kosovo (Assoc. Prof. Dr. Majlinda Gjelaj)

Discussions focused on progress against timelines, identification of challenges, and proposed optimization measures to ensure effective implementation.

Quality Assurance Committee (QAC) Session

The Quality Assurance Committee reviewed project deliverables, including reports, events, and promotional materials. Recommendations for improvement were provided, and key deliverables were validated. The session was led by Prof. Gunnar Peterson and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Elda Tartari.

Conclusion

The meeting concluded with an open discussion among all partners, reaffirming commitment to collaboration and the successful achievement of BEWBU project objectives. Clear action points were agreed upon to guide the next phase of project implementation.

The BEWBU project continues to strengthen blended education capacities across Western Balkan universities through international cooperation and innovation.
