Third Online Meeting of the BEWBU Project Successfully Held

On March 23, 2026, the third online meeting of the international project “Blended Education in Western Balkans Universities (BEWBU)” was successfully held. The project is funded by the Erasmus+ programme and aims to enhance blended learning practices in higher education institutions across the Western Balkans.

The meeting brought together partners from universities and institutions across Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Kosovo, Finland, Spain, and Sweden, as well as representatives from relevant ministries of education.

Key Objectives of the Meeting

The meeting was opened by the project coordinator, who welcomed participants and presented the objectives and agenda of the session.

The discussions focused on:

  • Overview of completed project activities and planning of upcoming tasks
  • Internal reporting and identification of remaining responsibilities
  • Presentations by Work Package leaders (WP1–WP5) on progress and ongoing activities
  • Discussion of implementation timelines and optimization measures
  • Review of deliverables and recommendations for quality improvement

A central part of the meeting was dedicated to the presentations of Work Package leaders, highlighting the collaborative efforts across partner institutions:

  • WP1 is led by the University of Aleksander Moisiu, Albania (UAMD)
  • WP2 is led by the University of León, Spain (ULE)
  • WP3 is led by Tampere University of Applied Sciences, Finland (TAMK)
  • WP4 is led by the University of Donja Gorica, Montenegro (UDG)
  • WP5 is led by the University of Prishtina, Kosovo (UP)

These presentations provided a comprehensive overview of the progress achieved so far, as well as the ongoing activities and next steps for each work package.

The meeting concluded with a joint discussion and alignment on future actions to ensure the successful implementation of project objectives and the continued strengthening of blended learning practices across partner universities.
