The workshop on the use of Virtual Reality (VR) in education was successfully held on 13 May 2026 within the framework of the Blended Education in Western Balkans Universities (BEWBU) project. The training session was delivered by Zakarias Mortensen and Daniel Sjölie from University West, who trained participants from the partner universities of the Western Balkans consortium.
The workshop combined both theoretical and practical approaches, focusing on the pedagogical integration of Virtual Reality technologies in teaching and learning environments. Participants had the opportunity to explore innovative teaching methodologies, experience the practical use of VR headsets, and discuss the potential of immersive technologies for enhancing student engagement, collaboration, and interactive learning within blended education settings.
